One of the most effective ways MPtc fills seats at Bellamy Hall is through high-visibility roadside signs. We are seeking a proactive Local Promotions Assistant to help us scout high-traffic locations and secure permission from local property owners to display our show advertising boards (hoardings).
Key Responsibilities
Location Scouting: Identify high-visibility, high-traffic roads and intersections across the Mornington Peninsula suitable for temporary signs.
Community Outreach: Approach local residents or businesses with prominent fences to ask if they would be willing to host an MPtc show board.
Permission Management: Keep a simple log of confirmed addresses, homeowner contact details, and dates for when signs can be installed and removed.
Coordination: Liaison with the MPtc production crew to let them know where and when to physically install and take down the secure boards.
What We’re Looking For
A friendly, confident, and polite communicator who enjoys chatting with people in the local community.
Good knowledge of the Mornington Peninsula road network and high-traffic spots.
Highly organised with the ability to track permissions systematically.
Note: You will not be required to physically install the heavy signs or do unannounced door-knocking; we provide professional flyers and digital scripts to help you approach contacts safely.
What’s in it for You
Direct Impact: See your efforts directly translate into packed audiences and buzzing opening nights.
Flexible Hours: Complete your scouting and outreach on your own schedule while running your usual local errands.
Community Connection: Meet local residents and business owners, acting as a proud ambassador for community theatre.
Perks: Receive complimentary tickets to our productions and join a fantastic, creative local crew.
